Jago is passionate about God’s word and seeing people empowered to live like Jesus wherever they are. He is a fantastic communicator and is also the author of ‘Working without Wilting’.

Rev'd Jonathan Fletcher - The Tough Sayings - Matthew 5:27-30

We continue our series on ‘THE TOUGH SAYINGS’, looking at Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:27-30, 'If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.' Lust is especially rampant in our day, with the grip of online pornography and other practises widespread. Come and hear why Jesus commends deformity over yielding to this particular sin. Jonathan Fletcher will be steering us through these tricky waters. He is a regular at Burning Man and one of the finest expositors of scripture in the UK.

Rico Tice - Personal Evangelism

We’re delighted to have have Rico Tice with us, kicking off a new season of 'Burning Man'!

Rico is the Senior Minister for evangelism at All Souls Langham Place, having joined in the latter years of John Stott’s ministry there. He is also author and pioneer of ‘Christianity Explored’, an introductory course to the Christian faith that has over 10,000 courses running in 90 countries around the world. Speaking personally, he is quite simply one of the most compelling and inspiring preachers in the world today. It is an honour to have him with us. Don’t miss out!

He’ll be looking at ‘Personal Evangelism’ - how we are each called to carry the message of Jesus to those around us and also how we do it.

Mark Greene - Old Testament Men of God - Boaz

We're very excited to have MARK GREENE from The LICC with us at 'BURNING MAN'! Mark will be continuing our series on 'OLD TESTAMENT MEN OF GOD', looking at BOAZ.

Mark used to work in advertising and is prepared to admit it (Mark's words, not mine!). He is now Executive Director of the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity, and works as a speaker, writer and consultant specialising both in helping Christians engage fruitfully in their everyday contexts out in the world, and helping churches to help them. His books include “Thank God it’s Monday,” “The Great Divide”, the ground-breaking “Imagine – How we can reach the UK” and “Fruitfulness on the Frontline” which has a supporting DVD resource for small groups. Mark is married to Katriina and they have two sons and a daughter – Matt, Tomas & Anna-Marie – and a dog called Spark.

Rev'd Jonathan Fletcher - Micaiah Ben Imlah - 1 Kings 22:8-28

Rev'd Jonathan Fletcher joins us to kick off our new term series on 'OLD TESTAMENT MEN OF GOD', looking at MICAIAH BEN IMLAH! (Yup, we’re interested to learn about him too!).

Jonathan Fletcher is the recently retired vicar of Emmanuel Wimbledon where he ministered for 30 years. He continues to be a popular speaker, and personal mentor to many. His recently published collection of letters to the Emmanuel church family, 'Dear Friends,' is the only publication we know of to be endorsed by so diverse a crowd as Dick Lucas, Nicky Gumbel and Rowan Williams. He is a staunch luddite, refusing to use 'the interweb' and was once mistaken for a posh Pakistani owing to his permatan.
