David Jackman - How do we interpret the Bible? - 2 Peter 1:3-4

It’s one of the key questions of our time. With society writing off the bible as a matter of ‘interpretation’, a book that can be made to say anything, how do we respond? Has postmodernity had the last laugh, or does the bible carry a consistent message that can be found through correct interpretation? Is such a thing even possible? These are some of the questions we’ll be addressing with David Jackman at BURNING MAN. This is one session not to miss… David Jackman is one of the UK’s leading Bible teachers and commentators. An International Conference speaker, he is the former President of the Proclamation Trust and author of numerous books and commentaries.

Rev'd Stephen Foster - Elijah and the Prophets of Baal - 1 Kings 18:16-46

We live in a world that’s indifferent and even hostile towards Christianity. In such an age, how can we be men who take a stand and speak courageously for Jesus Christ? Our term gets off to a thunderous start as Stephen Foster takes us through Elijah's fiery stand off with the prophets of Baal. Stephen Foster is a former criminal barrister and is now a Curate at Holy Trinity Brompton.
