In our final ‘BURNING MAN’ meeting of the term we’re were very excited to be joined by Dr. Garry Williams, looking at Acts 7 and ’The offence of the Gospel’. A key message for us in the 21st century.
Garry Williams serves as the Director of the John Owen Centre for Theological Study at London Theological Seminary, which provides theological teaching for pastors. He is also Visiting Professor of Historical Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia, and an elder at Christ Church, Harpenden. Among other things he has published Silent Witnesses: Lessons on Theology, Life, and the Church from Christians of the Past. He is married to Fiona and they have four children.

David Jackman - Old Testament Narrative
We’re delighted to have had David Jackman speaking at 'Burning Man’! Continuing our series on ‘Reading the Bible’, looking at the genre of Narrative and how we can best read and interpret it. These sessions are gold dust!
David is a renowned Christian speaker, and former president of The Proclamation Trust. He’s also the author of several books and bible commentaries. He founded the Cornhill Training Course in 1991 and was previously Minister of Above Bar Church, Southampton from 1976 - 1991. He’s also an absolute gent! :)

Rev'd Christopher Ash - Do You Seek Wisdom?
We were thrilled to have Rev'd Christopher
Ash with us again this Thursday morning at 'Burning Man’.
Christopher is Director of the Cornhill Training Course, a two-year course from The Proclamation Trust, designed to provide Bible-handling and practical ministry skills to those exploring their future role in Christian work. He is the author of at least ten books and a much-in-demand conference speaker. He is married to Carolyn and has three sons and a daughter.
He’ll be continuing our stream on ‘Reading the Bible’, addressing how we go about reading the Wisdom genre of scripture

Simon Guillebaud - Man is Sacrificial - Romans 12:1 - 2
Simon
Guillebaud is a Frontline Spiritual Warrior, having been a missionary in Burundi (just next to Rwanda)
since 1999, when it was rated the most dangerous country on earth, experiencing
genocide and civil war.
Simon had a privileged upbringing, enjoying the best
education money could buy at Harrow, and yet laid it all down to serve Christ
in a distant land. He’s a remarkable man and an inspirational speaker. Come and
hear him preach on ‘MAN IS SACRIFICIAL’, at our final meeting of ‘Burning
Man’ this term. We’ll be looking at Romans 12:1-2.

Bruce Streather - Man is called
We were
delighted to have Bruce Streather speaking to us at 'BURNING
MAN' on 'MAN IS CALLED...' Where he explored the wrestle we all
have in discerning God's call of where to work, church / world....
Bruce
runs his own Solicitors' Firm in the city and has huge experience in the
working world. He's also the oldest man ever to win the President's Putter golf
tournament, so there you go.
